Job summary

HomeGrown, part of Thrive Restaurant Group, is a daytime breakfast/brunch concept in Rogers, AR, seeking a dish washer to maintain cleanliness and support all kitchen areas. You will help ensure all dishes, pots and utensils are ready to serve our guests, with early arrivals and a finish by 3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Able to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to follow recipes exactly as written.
• Ability to work fast, safe, efficient, and accurately for up to 10 hours per day.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Able to work in a high stress, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to help with maintenance, prep cook responsibilities, and assist other stations.
• Capable of using knives and other food prep equipment.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Ability to transport cases up to 50 pounds as many as 20 times per day.
• Able to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers.

Responsibilities

• Scrap, scrub, spray, wash, sanitize all pots, pans, dishes and utensils to ensure smooth operation.
• Complete all assigned prep work, following recipes exactly as written.
• Set up workstation.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects.
• Aids with putting away deliveries.
