CommonSail Investment Group is hiring a Cook to prepare meals for residents and guests according to menus and recipes. You will work full-time during day shifts, ensuring quality, safety, and timely service while collaborating with kitchen staff and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or technical school.
• Minimum of three years of line cook experience or training.
• Strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Ensure freshness, cooking status, and proper seasoning of all foods served.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow proper food rotation policies.
• Maintain a positive attitude supporting a team environment.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and security in the kitchen.
