Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Cook for a 11am-7pm shift. You will prepare meals for residents and guests, following menus and standard recipes, while ensuring proper portioning and garnishes.

Present a professional appearance and maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety. The role requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of three years of line cook experience or training and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or technical school.
• Min. 3 years of line cook experience and/or training.
• Good communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests and staff.
• Follow planned menus and standard recipes.
• Plate items with correct portions and garnishes.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and report shortages to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and station.
