Red Rabbit is hiring a Chef for its commissary kitchen in LIC, NY. This hands-on role focuses on scratch-made, culturally relevant meals for students, with weekday day shifts and no nights.

You will lead high-volume production while maintaining quality, safety, and accurate packing for delivery to multiple schools. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of professional cooking experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to scale recipes without sacrificing flavor.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of professional culinary experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to scale recipes while preserving flavor and texture.
• Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Organize prep, cooking, and packing to meet schedules.
• Attention to detail for quality, portions, labeling, and orders.
• Strong communication and reliable follow-through.
• Team player who can work independently.
• Comfort using software/spreadsheets for daily reporting.
• Food safety certification for the location, or willingness to obtain it.
