Job summary

Country Meadows is seeking a Chaplain to enrich the spiritual care for residents and families at our Allentown campus. This Full-Time role from 9:00am to 5:00pm offers a balance-friendly schedule with Saturdays off and no on-call duties.

Applicants should have a Bible College degree or equivalent with specialized training, be ordained/licensed to provide pastoral duties, and demonstrate experience in elder care and ecumenical ministry. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bible College degree or equivalent with certification.
• Licensed/ordained to administer communion and perform pastoral duties.
• Experience ministering to the elderly; gerontology or dementia coursework.

Responsibilities

• Lead spiritual life programming tailored to care levels such as devotions, Bible studies, and faith-based groups.
• Collaborate with team to create dynamic spiritual, wellness and purposeful lifestyles.
• Serve as a spiritual mentor and lead resident support groups (Circles of Life, Men’s/Women’s Groups, Grief/Bereavement, etc.).
• Provide bereavement support and spiritual encouragement to residents, families and staff.
• Minister to residents in weekly ecumenical and holiday worship services.

Education

Bible College degree or other college degree with specialized training and/or certification from a recognized religious denomination or organization
