Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities is seeking a Chaplain to provide compassionate pastoral care and spiritual guidance to residents, families and coworkers at our Allentown campus. You will lead ecumenical worship, coordinate faith resources, and develop spiritual life programs to support aging residents, including those with dementia.

This is a full-time role requiring availability for Sundays and holidays.

Qualifications

• Degree in ministry or related field, preferably M.Div.
• Ordained, licensed or endorsed for ministry within a recognized faith tradition.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with residents, families and coworkers.
• Strong communication, attentive listening, preaching, teaching and pastoral care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate pastoral care and spiritual guidance to residents and families.
• Lead weekly ecumenical worship services and religious observances.
• Coordinate with local clergy and faith communities to support residents' faith practices.
• Develop and lead spiritual life programming and devotional activities.
• Support residents through health changes, end-of-life needs and bereavement.
• Collaborate with campus teams to integrate spirituality into daily living.
