Job summary

Hartville Hardware & Lumber is seeking a part-time Carryout/Carts Team Member in Hartville, OH. You will assist guests through the in-store checkout, carry purchases to vehicles, and supervise the parking area to ensure carts are available. The role operates under supervision and emphasizes a friendly, efficient guest experience.

Hours are days starting at 8:00 AM with flexibility as needed. No high school diploma required, but reliability and guest focus are essential.

Qualifications

No high school diploma or equivalent is required, though some experience in a related field is preferred.
Candidate should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and be available during the day starting at 8:00 AM, with hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Load product for guests at checkout and in the parking lot.
Retrieve carts from the parking lot in all types of weather.
Walk returns back to their departments.
Retrieve recyclables from offices, pushing a cart and dumping recyclable material.
Bag items carefully and help with stocking coolers.
Greet guests warmly when entering or leaving the store.
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
Bag, box, or wrap packages as needed.
Pleasantly assist guests to ensure their satisfaction.
