Senior Helpers of Las Vegas is hiring daytime caregivers to support local seniors in their homes. We are committed to compassion, reliability, and professional growth, with a sign-on bonus for new teammates.

Qualifications

• One year of PCA or Home Health Aide experience is a plus, but we provide comprehensive training.
• Willingness to travel locally to reach client homes.
• Ability to clear state and federal background checks alongside a drug screening.
• Current TB test and physical exam prior to start date.
• CPR and First Aid certification (we can guide you through obtaining these).
• Two professional and two personal references.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Engaging in warm companionship and meaningful conversations.
• Supporting clients in their favorite pastimes, from board games to cooking together.
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals.
• Assisting with activities of daily living, including walking stability and dressing.
• Documenting daily progress updates regarding physical and behavioral well-being.

A Day in the Life of a Caregiver

Your core mission is to make home life safer, more comfortable, and highly enjoyable for local seniors.

Daily responsibilities include:

What We Look For (Requirements)

We welcome experienced professionals as well as individuals with an exceptional heart for caregiving who are eager to learn.

• A valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel locally to reach client homes.
