Job summary

Chick-fil-A Jacksonville is seeking a Back of House Team Member to join our friendly, fast-paced restaurant. This part-time role offers up to 29 hours per week and is a great entry point into a career with an iconic hospitality brand.

As a Back of House Team Member, you’ll prepare, cook and present food safely, learn kitchen stations, maintain inventory, and support a collaborative team led by our experienced Operators and Leaders. Saturday availability is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards.
• Be knowledgeable of kitchen stations and assignments.
• Stock kitchen inventory and keep the area clean and orderly.
• Complete opening/closing tasks and adhere to dress code.

Position Type:

• Part-time (up to 29 hours per week)

Day-time Availability:

• Shifts starting at: 5AM, 6AM, 7AM or 8AM
• Shifts ending at: 3PM, 4PM or 5PM
• Must be available on Saturdays

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
