Job summary

Chick-fil-A in Florida is seeking a Back of House Team Member to help deliver a great dining experience. The role supports an independent Owner/Operator and upholds Chick-fil-A service and food standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

We offer full-time and part-time positions with 20+ hours weekly; daylight and evening shifts are available, and Fridays and Saturdays are required. You will prepare and stock, keep the kitchen clean, learn from leaders, and grow your skills in a supportive

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand up to 8 hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Must be 16 years or older and able to read and understand English policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards.
• Be knowledgeable of assignments for all kitchen stations including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep.
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed.
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times.
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A.
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues to Leadership.
• Maintain knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on changes.
• Complete opening or closing tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years of age (legal requirement to work in kitchen)
• Must be able to stand up to 8 hours
• Must be able to use fine motor skills
• Must be able to work in the heat (around machines)
• Must be able to lift at most 50 pounds
• Must be able to read and understand policies and procedures in English
• Must be able to stoop, bend, turn, and twist
• Must be able to move quickly
• Must be able to project their voice/enunciate as to be heard and understood
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Must be available to work on Saturdays (lunch or dinner daypart)
