Creekside Behavioral Health in Kingsport, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse for dayshift to provide skilled nursing care and supervise LPNs/CNAs on the unit. You will develop and evaluate care plans, assess patients, and communicate changes to the team.

The role requires an active RN license, 1+ year of nursing in behavioral health, CPR/ de-escalation certification, and the ability to educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in state or compact state
• 1+ years nursing experience in clinical/behavioral health preferred
• Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment preferred
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certifications required
• First aid may be required depending on state or facility

Responsabilités

• Provides and coordinates nursing care for patients, supervising LPNs, CNAs, and other staff on the unit.
• Develops and implements individualized plans of care and documents assessments and changes.
• Administers medications and monitors responses under physician oversight; maintains accurate med records.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, treatments, and safety practices.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team and communicates patient status promptly.
