Creekside Behavioral Health in Kingsport, Tennessee, seeks a RN Supervisor for the dayshift to lead direct care nursing staff and ensure high standards of patient care and safety.

The role requires a BSN (preferred) and multiple years of RN and behavioral health experience, with supervisory responsibilities and on-site staffing management. CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certifications are required, with first aid may be needed depending on state.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
• Two or more years’ experience as an RN required.
• One or more years’ experience in behavioral health experience required.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.

Responsabilités

• Provides, delegates, coordinates and evaluates care of patients through the collaborative efforts of team members and in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practice.
• Coordinates nursing, medical and/or behavioral health care activities with all staff to ensure smooth and complete coordination of efforts during shared shift.
• Administers medications and maintains records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Holds staff accountable for non-compliance and patient safety concerns, as well as attendance, following policies, behavior, and adherence to code of conduct.
• Schedules staff to ensure full coverage at all times and to ensure staffing is accurate according to established guidelines and unit needs.
