Job summary

Summit BHC is seeking an RN Supervisor for the Creekside Behavioral Health Kingsport dayshift to oversee direct care nursing staff and ensure quality patient care in a behavioral health setting.

The role requires an RN license with CPR and de-escalation training; BSN preferred and supervisory experience is valued. This on-site leadership position manages staffing, coordinates care, and upholds standards of practice across units.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Two or more years' RN experience; one+ year in behavioral health.
• Valid current RN license; CPR and de-escalation certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides, delegates, coordinates and evaluates patient care with the nursing staff.
• Maintains staffing plans and contingency coverage.
• Administers medications and maintains records.
• Conducts rounds on inpatient units for supervision and guidance.
• Ensures admission assessments are completed and care plans initiated.
