Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 2 W Progressive Care Unit in Michigan. The role involves coordinating nursing care for monitored patients, performing hourly rounds, and managing direct and indirect patient care in the progressive care setting.

A Michigan nursing license, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months are required, with at least one year of relevant hospital experience. The position is full-time, daytime hours (7:00 am to 7:30 pm), with weekends and on-call as indicated.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess valid State of Michigan Nursing License.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum one year of Medical/Surgical or critical care RN experience (or related hospital work).
• Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for monitored patients during hospital stay.
• Perform hourly rounding and assess pain, positioning, and personal needs.
• Provide direct and indirect care in progressive care; ensure patient safety.
