Job summary

McLaren is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate care in the Progressive Care Unit in Michigan. You will monitor cardiac status, respond to emergencies, and ensure evidence-based practice is followed during the patient’s stay.

The role requires a Michigan nursing license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 1+ year in Medical/Surgical or critical care settings; strong communication and patient service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess valid State of Michigan Nursing License.
• BLS Certified.
• ACLS certified within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum one year previous experience as a Medical/Surgical or critical care RN or related role.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of nursing care for monitored patients during hospital stay.
• Apply nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, discharge needs.
• Perform purposeful hourly rounding and ensure patient safety.
