Meadowbrook Care Center in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced ADON to join its leadership team as a full-time dayshift RN. The ADON will oversee day-to-day nursing activities on a skilled nursing unit, mentor staff, and coordinate care to ensure the highest standard of resident wellbeing.

Responsibilities include admitting, transferring and discharging residents, participating in on-call rotation, reviewing care plans, supervising medication administration, preparing reports, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program (RN or LPN).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, and vent unit experience.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines related to long-term care.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day nursing activities for a skilled nursing unit.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents per facility policies.
• Coordinate nursing services with other departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in on-call rotation with three other nurse managers.
• Conduct resident rounds, review care plans, and provide direct nursing care as needed.
• Assist with physician rounds and communicate resident needs and updates.
• Monitor stock levels of medications, supplies, and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain accurate medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charts.
• Investigate and complete accident/incident reports as required.
• Ensure nursing personnel follow established procedures and policies.
• Welcome and orient new residents and their families to the facility.
