Job summary

Alias Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse ADON to join our leadership team as a Dayshift, full-time role. You will oversee day-to-day nursing activities on a skilled nursing unit, supervise staff, admit/transfer/discharge residents, and coordinate with other departments to ensure continuity of care.

The ideal candidate holds an active Ohio RN license with at least 2 years in long-term care, demonstrates strong leadership and regulatory knowledge, and can make independent

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio
• Minimum 2 years in long-term care or skilled nursing
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices and regulations in long-term care
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to make independent clinical and administrative decisions
• Professional, patient, and tactful interactions with staff, residents and families

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing activities in a skilled nursing unit
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality care
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents per facility policies
• Coordinate nursing services with other departments for continuity of care
• Participate in on-call rotation with other nurse managers
• Conduct rounds, review care plans, and provide direct nursing care as needed
• Assist with physician rounds and communicate resident needs
• Monitor stock levels of medications, supplies, and equipment
• Maintain accurate medical forms, reports, evaluations and charts
• Complete accident/incident reports as required
• Ensure adherence to procedures and policies by nursing personnel
• Welcome and orient new residents and families to the facility
