Job summary

Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is seeking Day Floor Technicians. You will sweep, mop, strip, scrub, finish, and buff all hard floors and corridors, and also strip/seal restroom floors and maintain carpeting.

The role reports to the Shift Manager or Team Lead, with tasks assigned and supervised as needed. The position requires physical stamina, ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in varying environments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow supervisor instructions and complete tasks.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Capable of climbing ladders and working in hot, cold, or damp environments.
• Reliable transportation to and from site.

Responsibilities

• Strip, scrub, mop, finish, and buff all floors and corridors as scheduled.
• Inspect hard-to-reach areas and clean by hand where needed.
• Remove floor drain inspection plates and clean by hand.
• Monitor finish build-up and adjust maintenance as required.
• Report maintenance concerns and leaks to the Cleaning Supervisor.
• Maintain all cleaning equipment in good condition.
• Vacuum and clean carpeted areas as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is seeking to hireDayFloor Technicians. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, stripping, scrubbing, finishing, and buffing all hard floors and corridors, stripping and sealing floors and corridors, stripping and sealing restroom floors, maintaining carpet, including vacuuming, shampooing, extracting, and spot cleaning.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

The Floor Technician reports to the Shift Manager or Team Lead and receives work assignments and work supervision from the same.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES

• Strip, scrub, mop, finish, and buff all areas as scheduled.


• Inspect and clean all corners by hand that power cleaning equipment cannot reach.


• Remove floor drain inspection plates, and clean by hand when necessary.


• Inspect for finish build-up and correct.


• Report to the Cleaning Supervisor, areas he/she feels require a different maintenance schedule.


• Inform the Cleaning Supervisor of any leaks, maintenance concerns, or unsafe conditions immediately.


• Maintain all equipment in good condition.


• Vacuum, and clean carpet areas as scheduled.


• Other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.


• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.


• Must be able to carry, push and/or pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.


• Must be able to climb up and down a ladder.


• Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments.


• Reliable Transportation.

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

• Janitor/Cleaning experience is a plus.
