Job summary

Mt. Bachelor is seeking a dedicated Daycare Teacher to care for infants, toddlers, and children from 6 weeks to 10 years. The role runs 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, seven days a week, indoors with daily outdoor play.

A CBR number is required; start the Oregon CBR process if needed. Responsibilities include supervising children, leading activities, documenting attendance, and assisting with meals. Must be 18+, have 20 college credits in ECE/Child Development, and hold CPR/First Aid and Food Handler

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Has completed 20 college credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• Experience with infants, children, and toddlers preferred.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and hold valid First Aid/CPR & Food Handler certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a designated group of children daily with an aide.
• Perform routine care tasks: diapering, comforting, feeding, and safety supervision.
• Lead group activities, arts and crafts, and daily play.
• Document attendance and medical needs as reported by parents to ensure safety.
• Assist with meal service and daily routines for children aged 6 weeks to 10 years.

Daycare is open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, seven days a week. The job takes place indoors, with daily outdoor play with children. Must have a Central Background Registry (CBR) Number. Each teacher will be paired with Aides to assist in daily functions. Each aide is unable to be unsupervised without a Teacher in the room.* Duties include cleaning, organizing equipment, and attending to the daily needs of the children in their care.* Throughout the day, duties include leading group activities, art projects, and serving food.* Documenting children’s attendance, medical needs, and personal specifics reported by parents to allow the Daycare to function safely and to ensure that all needs of the children in our care are met.* Duties with infants and toddlers include nurturing, comforting, and changing diapers.***\\*For this position, we are looking for weekday & weekend availability\\******Education/Related Experience*** Must be at least 18 years of age.* Must have completed 20 credits worth of training at a college/university in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.* Must have experience working with infants, children, and toddlers.**Specific Job Skills*** **License/Certifications:** Ability to pass a criminal background check.
