Job summary

Mt. Bachelor in Bend, Oregon is hiring a Daycare Teacher to care for infants through 10-year-olds in a state-certified drop-in daycare. The role runs 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, seven days a week, indoors with daily outdoor play.

Must have a Central Background Registry (CBR) number. Please register at the Oregon DELC page. Requirements include completing 20 credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, experience with infants and toddlers, and valid OR Food Handler’s card, First Aid and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completed 20 credits of training in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• Experience working with infants, children, and toddlers.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Current valid Oregon Food Handler’s card, First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a designated group of children daily with aides.
• Assist in daily functions such as cleaning and organizing equipment.
• Lead group activities, art projects, and serving food.
• Document attendance, medical needs, and parent notes.

Each teacher will be paired with Aides to assist in daily functions.
