The Learning Experience in Canton, MI is seeking a dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. You will work with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers, helping them learn through play and develop essential skills while supporting families and colleagues.

We're looking for caring, energetic individuals who value a positive, collaborative classroom environment and are committed to meeting Michigan licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous daycare, preschool, childcare, or early childhood experience preferred.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus.
• Dependable, patient, energetic, and team-oriented.
• Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in developmentally appropriate learning and play activities.
• Support children's language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Help children navigate classroom routines, meals, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions.
• Encourage independence and positive social interactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom.
• Communicate positively with children, families, and fellow team members.
• Collaborate with Lead Teachers and center leadership.
• Follow Michigan childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

Daycare Teacher – Full-Time

Location: The Learning Experience – Canton, MI
Pay: $16–$19 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
