Job summary

• Experience with children and special needs preferred.
• Commitment to providing care with safety and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Talk with family about daily plan and activities for the day.
• Offer emotional support when needed.
• Attend in-home and community outing activities.
• Assist with toileting, dressing, nap times, and snack time.
• Provide safety supervision and careful monitoring during daycare activities.

A kind-hearted parent is seeking help for her 3-year-old daughter, who has special needs and epilepsy. This parent is seeking a childcare provider who can help in their home with respite and as-needed support at their daycare. Area: - Appleton/ Menasha Wi Daycare

Hours: - Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (This family is seeking to find a backup applicant) Respite Hours: - flexible - no set schedule - work balance life - Weekdays - Weekends Pay Rate: - $17.97 /Hour Respite care needs: - Talk with family about what you will be doing for the day - Offer emotional support when needed - Attending in-home and community outing activities - Toileting - Dressing - Help with nap times - Snack time

Daycare support: - Meet the parent at the daycare facility - 1:1 support in group activities - Assist with helping the child with activities at the daycare - Safety and supervision - Toileting, Dressing - Assist with snack time - Respite care
