YMCA of the Lowcountry is seeking a Daycare Assistant Teacher to support preschool-age children (2–5) in a safe, nurturing setting. You will assist the Lead Preschool Teacher, implement age-appropriate activities, and ensure licensing and safety standards are met.
The role offers part-time, non-exempt work with flexible scheduling and a focus on creating inclusive environments for families. Up to 30 hours weekly with a 8 AM–3 PM shift.
Minimum $14.00/hour - Maximum $16.00/hour

The Daycare Assistant Teacher supports the YMCA’s mission by providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for preschool-age children (ages 2-5). This role is responsible for assisting the Lead Preschool Teacher with teaching children, implementing age-appropriate activities, and maintaining compliance with all youth safety, licensing, and program standards.
