Job summary

The Learning Experience in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support engaging, age-appropriate lessons for Little Learners. Help maintain a safe, happy classroom and communicate with families via our mobile app.

You will collaborate with fellow teachers to create a positive learning environment and ensure licensing requirements are met. Availability until 6:30–6:45 PM, Monday–Friday is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in childcare preferred.
• Must meet state/local childcare licensing requirements.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; ECE coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Create a safe, happy classroom environment following TLE standards and protocols.
• Monitor child growth and development and celebrate progress.
• Communicate daily updates and cheerful moments with families via the mobile app.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to support a positive learning environment.

Join our HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as an Assistant Teacher! Our centers are focused on developing Little Learners from infancy to preschool. We make early education and daycare joyful, engaging, and fun so children are happy to LEARN, PLAY and GROW.

*Must be available to work until 6:30-6:45PM Monday-Friday*

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; ECE coursework preferred
• 18 years of age or older
• 1+ years’ experience in childcare preferred.
• Ability to meet state/local childcare licensing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support fun learning environments by helping to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Create safe & happy spaces by ensuring TLE standards and protocols for clean, safe, and organized classrooms where Little Learners can explore and learn are adhered to daily.
• Monitor growth and development of understanding key milestones and celebrating their progress.
• Build relationships and communication with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments via our mobile app.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
