Job summary

Naperville Park District in Naperville, IL is seeking a Day Trip Assistant who will escort participants to day trips and assist with waivers and attendance, ensuring a smooth start to each excursion. You will distribute tickets and maps, provide companionship on journeys, supervise boarding and disembarking from the motorcoach, and uphold District customer service standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain First Aid, CPR, and AED

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain First Aid, CPR, and AED within 2 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Escort participants to and from day trips as assigned by the Program Manager.
• Record attendance throughout the day.
• Distribute trip-related documentation including event tickets and area maps.
• Provide companionship for participants traveling alone.
• Supervise the boarding and disembarking of participants on the motorcoach.
• Provide an exceptional customer service experience and promote District services and facilities.
• Demonstrate and support District customer service standards.
