Job summary

Coastal Logistics Group in Virginia is seeking a Yard & Warehouse Utility Operator to support logistics, yard operations and material handling. The role involves moving trailers with a jockey truck, forklift operation and general labor in a fast‑paced environment.

You will perform daily yard checks, assist with shipping and receiving, load, unload and organize inventory, and maintain cleanliness of the yard, dock and warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience operating jockey trucks, forklifts or related equipment.
• Valid driver\u2019s license; CDL a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers and containers within the yard using a jockey truck.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Perform daily yard checks and maintain equipment.
• Assist with shipping and receiving, including paperwork.
• Keep yard, dock and warehouse clean and organized.
• Follow safety policies and adapt to varying weather conditions.
