Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Topeka, KS is seeking a day shift, part-time Wound Care Registered Nurse to join our team. The role focuses on coordinating safe patient care while supporting wound care protocols and interdisciplinary collaboration.

You will assess patient needs, develop and revise care plans, and ensure compliance with nursing standards and hospital policies. A strong clinical background and compassion for patients are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing is required.
• Current Kansas RN Licensure is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe patient care for diverse patient populations under the Nurse Director/Manager.
• Assess needs, develop and revise goals and plans to meet biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs of patients/families.
• Delegate care appropriately to optimize patient outcomes and ensure compliance with Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
