Job summary

Stormont Vail Health is seeking an Ambulatory Registered Nurse for the Wound Care Center in Topeka, KS. This full-time day shift role provides comprehensive wound care using established guidelines, patient education, and care coordination within the ambulatory setting.

Ideal candidates hold a KS RN license with BLS, and have experience in a clinic setting. BSN preferred, with magnet-enabled facilities valued. Training and ongoing development are supported.

Qualifications

• RN with KS license; BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• BSN preferred per Education section.
• WOCNCB or AAWM magnet certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care within wound care protocols.
• Documents assessments, plans and progress in patient records.
• Administers prescribed meds and therapies per standards.
• Triages patient needs and coordinates with team for outcomes.
