Responsibilities

• Supervise daily woodyard operations, including log receiving, scaling, unloading, staging, and inventory management.
• Lead and manage yard personnel, including operators and drivers.
• Ensure safe and efficient traffic flow within the yard.
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and communicate log supply needs to mill management.
• Train, coach, and evaluate employees.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure continuous mill operation.
• Address operational issues and implement process improvements.
