Westaff is hiring a Wiring & Mechanical Assembler in North Haven, CT. Shift is Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with overtime opportunities.

Pay Rate: $21 an hour. The role involves assembling mechanical and electrical components, wiring, and routing cables according to drawings. You will inspect quality, troubleshoot routine issues, and help maintain production records in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to drawings.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and cable routing.
• Build products per engineering drawings, schematics and work instructions.
• Inspect finished assemblies for quality and troubleshoot routine issues.
• Maintain production records and support a safe, organized work environment.
