Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Rocky Mount, VA is seeking a Production Associate to fabricate and assemble window components. You will perform repetitive, physical tasks in a fast-paced environment, using hand and power tools and reading simple instructions.

We offer a base pay of $16 per hour, benefits starting day one, and a voucher for work-related expenses. Training can last up to six weeks with shifts Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–6:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows.
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions.
• Read and carry out simple written instructions.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Use a tape measure and read measurements during interview.
• Operate equipment needed to perform a job.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
