Job summary

NSI Industries in Odessa, FL is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for the 1st shift (6:30am–2:30pm). You will support shipping and freight operations, maintain accurate documentation, and mentor the warehouse team to ensure on-time customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in shipping/receiving, strong knowledge of company parts, and forklift operation. You will work with the team to load/unload, verify invoices, and keep the warehouse safe and orderly.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a HS diploma.
• 3–5 years of experience in Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse operations.
• Ability to read and write English and interpret documents.
• Forklift trained and certified.

Responsibilities

• Has strong knowledge of company part numbers, products, and customers.
• Has in-depth experience with Shipping procedures (FedEx, UPS, DSL, Freight, International).
• Packs and unpacks orders while maintaining schedule.
• Uses warehouse systems to locate and gather stock.
• Creates shipping labels and handles shipping information.
• Solves shipping route or rush-order issues with customers and suppliers.
• Performs administrative duties and provides excellent customer service.
• Liaises with material handlers and managers about ordering and storage.
• Works with shipping team to complete orders on time.
• Keeps shipping area clean and organized and secures tools and supplies.
• Loads/unloads packages from trucks.
• Inspects contents and verifies against orders and invoices.
• Returns unsatisfactory shipments or arranges replacements.
• Labels deliveries and allocates them to designated places.
