Job summary

84 Lumber is hiring for a Full-time Warehouse Associate to join our team. The role involves building loads for delivery, unloading freight such as lumber and building supplies, and operating a forklift safely in a busy warehouse environment.

You will communicate delays or discrepancies to management and help maintain the store’s special order program. Ability to lift up to 80 pounds is required; other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Reads and comprehends simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; writes simple correspondence; presents information one-on-one.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds periodically.

Responsibilities

• Build loads for delivery and unload freight including lumber and building supplies.
• Forklift training, certification, and operation.
• Communicate delays or discrepancies with management.
• Maintain the store’s special order program and other sales programs as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
