Job summary

Qualifications

• Communication skills to interact with coworkers and management, and to input data accurately.
• Basic math concepts for counting and verifying merchandise.
• Ability to operate a Radio Frequency Unit.
• Ability to learn operation of motorized merchandise movement equipment.
• Willingness to maintain annual certification requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in an automated distribution center preferred.
• Experience with warehouse management systems applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise within the distribution center using hands, hand trucks, or forklift equipment.
• Inspect and audit merchandise against orders and record data.
• Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise.
• Replenish pick areas as needed based on reports and requests.
• Fulfill store orders by moving merchandise from pick slots to conveyors.
• Load outgoing merchandise into trailers from conveyors or trucks.
• Report damages and vendor compliance issues to supervisor.
• Collaborate with supervisor to resolve problems or discrepancies.
• Meet safety, productivity, and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
