Job summary

The Driver I is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles within the Cox Automotive auction facility. You will transport, stage, park, and deliver vehicles while ensuring inventory accuracy and customer service expectations.

Schedule options include 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, with potential mid-August shifts. High attention to safety and the ability to operate diverse vehicle makes are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to drive a wide range of vehicles securely and safely.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions, with attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate cars, trucks, SUVs, and specialty vehicles across the auction facility.
• Move, stage, park, inspect, and deliver vehicles; ensure accurate location in systems.
• Support vehicle inventory accuracy and performance of daily auction operations.
• Provide professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
