Job summary

Cox Automotive in USA is seeking a Driver I for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles within the auction facility. You will transport, stage, park, and deliver vehicles, ensuring inventory accuracy and strong customer service.

The role supports daily operations with flexible daytime shifts, no remote option, and an hourly pay rate of $17.79. Candidates must be able to work outdoors in varying weather and pass a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred).
• Ability to safely drive a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely move vehicles between auction lanes, storage lots, inspection areas, reconditioning services, customer pick-up locations, and designated parking areas.
• Stage vehicles for sale events, inspections, photography, transportation, and customer delivery.
• Verify vehicle locations and records in company systems; assist in locating missing vehicles and support inventory audits.
• Perform visual inspections for damages and report discrepancies immediately.
• Maintain safety, PPE use, and a clean, organized work environment.
