Job summary

Waabi seeks a Vehicle Testing & Diagnostics Engineer to quickly identify and diagnose issues during vehicle testing and on-road operations, applying deep hardware and software knowledge to keep vehicles safe and operational.

You will log issues with diagnostic data, collaborate with software and hardware teams, perform root-cause analyses, and implement preventive improvements to boost reliability in pre- and post-test evaluations. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• This role requires hands-on experience diagnosing complex vehicle systems.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/computer engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose issues during vehicle testing and on-road operations.
• Log issues with diagnostic data and reproduce steps for remediation.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and operations teams for root cause analyses.
• Translate data into actionable insights and recommend preventive measures.
• Support pre-test and post-test evaluations and ensure test readiness.
