Waabi, a leader in Physical AI, seeks a Test Engineer to design and run test plans for autonomous vehicle systems on tracks and public roads. You will coordinate with engineers, prep vehicles, and analyze performance while supporting the test operations team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 6 years of experience in test engineering or autonomous vehicle development.
• Experience with Linux command line and data logging tools.
• Python or MATLAB experience for data parsing/analysis.
• Experience leading test campaigns at major proving grounds.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and AV hardware/software.
• Comfort with fast-paced, evolving environments and travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans on closed course tracks and on road.
• Coordinate with engineers, prep test vehicles, and organize schedules.
• Execute and evaluate test vehicle performance and report findings.
• Maintain test schedules and testing resources across teams.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure clear communication between drivers and engineers.
• Support vehicle system inspections, maintenance, and record-keeping.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment at the facility.
