Job summary

Waabi is seeking an experienced automotive/robotics troubleshooter to diagnose and fix issues during vehicle testing and on-road operations. You will leverage hardware and software knowledge to address failures, implement safe workarounds, and document all steps for root-cause analyses.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive long-term improvements, streamline diagnostics, and support test readiness with Lean Six Sigma methodologies where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years in automotive/robotics/aerospace with trouble-shooting complex vehicle systems.
• Strong data analysis and ability to document technical issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose issues during vehicle testing and on-road operations.
• Use hardware and software knowledge to address failures and anomalies.
• Document workarounds while ensuring safety and performance standards.
• Log and report issues with steps, data, and recommended actions.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and operations teams for root-cause analysis.
• Translate observations into actionable insights for long-term improvements.
• Recommend preventive measures to enhance vehicle reliability.
• Support pre-test and post-test evaluations to ensure test readiness.
