Qualifications

• CST or NCCT certification required or equivalent.
• Annual 15 hours of continuing education to maintain NJ surgical technologist qualifications.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsabilités

• Assist the surgeon in the sterile field per AORN Standards.
• Perform scrub duties across varied procedures.
• Ensure necessary sterile supplies and equipment for the case.
• Assist with circulating duties under the RN circulator supervision.
• Adhere to hospital, state, and departmental policies and procedures.
