Job summary

Challenge Unlimited in East St. Louis, IL, is seeking a full-time Supervisor for the day shift to oversee janitorial teams and ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction at the site.

Duties include training, performance assessment, scheduling, and enforcing OSHA adherence, with a 12:00pm-8:00pm shift and pay rate of $18.91 per hour. Candidates need ≥2 years janitorial experience and ≥1 year supervisory experience, plus a valid IL driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years janitorial experience with 1 year in supervision or training.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to drive in IL.

Responsibilities

• Performance management to ensure contract compliance and safety.
• Janitorial support across bathrooms, offices, and break rooms.
• Quality assurance with regular inspections and corrective actions.
