Job summary

Challenge Unlimited in East St. Louis, IL is seeking a Full-time Supervisor for the day shift to supervise janitorial staff, ensure safety, training, and quality, and support site contract management.

You will lead the crew, perform assessments, ensure OSHA compliance, manage timekeeping, and help workers develop skills toward independence while upholding company culture and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years janitorial experience and 1 year in a supervisory or training role.
• Solid oral and written communication skills required.
• Must pass criminal background and registry checks.
• Valid IL driver’s license; driving history check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performance management to ensure safety and contract compliance.
• Janitorial tasks including cleaning, sanitizing and restocking areas.
• Quality assurance through regular inspections and follow-up.
• Develop staff with training and feedback; assess monthly/quarterly.
• Lead and coach site staff; uphold company culture and goals.
