Cleaver-Brooks in Thomasville, GA is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to lay out, weld, and assemble metal structures per blueprints, with ASME certification tests. You’ll operate cutting torches, read drawings, and maintain safety and quality in a 1st shift environment, lifting up to 60 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Competenze

• Technical training from an accredited school or at least six (6) months of welding experience.
• Dependable, detail-focused, and committed to quality and safety.

Mansioni

• Lay out, position, align, and fit structural metal assemblies per blueprints and specifications.
• Operate cutting torches safely and execute carbon arc gouging with proficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and process sheets with high accuracy.
• Use tape measures, levels, and related tools to verify fit-up, alignment, and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform high-quality welding and fabrication using established procedures and standards.
• Complete required ASME welding certification tests within the specified timeframe.
• Follow plant safety rules and help maintain a clean, orderly, and compliant work environment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support production flow.
