Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks is seeking a Welder for our Thomasville, GA location. The role involves fabricating, laying out, aligning, and fitting structural metal parts on the night shift (Mon-Thu, 4:30 p.m.–3:00 a.m.).

You will read blueprints, use measuring tools, and perform basic ASME tests while following all safety rules. Education should include a high school diploma or GED; six months of welding experience or technical training is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school or GED preferred; technical training a plus.
• Experience: Six months of related welding experience or technical training.
• Decision making: Trainee level with guidance from trainer.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and process sheets to guide welding work.
• Weld, layout, fit, and align structural metal parts.
• Use measuring devices and cutting torch per job instructions.
• Meet basic ASME certification test requirements within time frame.
• Follow all plant safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as directed by Cell Leader or Foreman.
