Job summary

Crown Technical Systems is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Handler in Dallas, TX. You will handle inbound/outbound shipments, verify counts, and maintain accurate records while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and at least 1 year in shipping/logistics, with strong communication and organizational skills. Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with opportunities for growth within the Materials team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in shipping/logistics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and time management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiar with cycle counting and MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Verify quality and count of items unloaded from trucks; report discrepancies per policy.
• Notify supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipment, or substitutions.
• Stage received material and product in proper locations.
• Create shipping/receiving receipts within the system.
• Prepare bills of lading and staging areas for carrier pickup.
• Load/unload deliveries with forklifts or hand trucks safely.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
