Maschio's Food Service Inc. is seeking experienced and reliable Food Service Workers for school cafeteria operations. The role follows a Monday through Friday day shift with summers off and no weekends or holidays.

You will prepare and serve nutritious meals to large student populations, assist with daily food prep, operate kitchen equipment safely, and maintain a clean dining environment. Strong sanitation knowledge and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a school cafeteria or institutional food service setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Food Handler's permit or ServSafe Certification preferred if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals in accordance with guidelines and portion standards.
• Assist with daily food prep, including chopping, cooking, baking, and assembling meals.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (ovens, slicers, dishwashers).
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, serving lines, storage areas and dining spaces.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
• Stocking, rotating food supplies, and minimizing waste.
• Provide friendly, patient service to students and staff.
• Accommodate special needs and allergy restrictions as required.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and securing equipment.
