Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of the unit's station under supervision.
• Assists charge nurses with admissions and coordinations for effective handoffs.
• Monitors nursing services, treatment and documentation for safety and accuracy.
• Orients new nurses to unit policies and procedures.
• Recommends policies to improve nursing care.
• Reports to DON/ADON on unit operations and staff performance.
