Job summary

FutureCare is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing team within our community. You will oversee daily unit operations, uphold nursing standards, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing and physicians to plan resident care.

Requirements include an active RN license (Maryland) with a Bachelor's in Nursing preferred and 1–3 years of managerial experience; CPR certification is required. The role offers a competitive salary and strong growth opportunities.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Leads daily operations of assigned unit to ensure quality service per nursing standards and FutureCare policies.
Oversees day-to-day care and maintains restorative health for residents.
Develops and implements resident care plans as needed.
Evaluates, prioritizes, and meets the care needs of each resident.
Supervises, counsels, and manages performance of nurse staff to ensure high-quality care.
Collaborates with Director of Nursing and Physicians to plan resident care.
Identifies procedural issues and coordinates with leadership to resolve them.
Directs clinical aspects of nursing practice and engages in clinical activities.
Acts as main contact between residents and families, addressing concerns.
