Job summary

Bradford Health Services is seeking an Registered Nurse for the Cornerstone facility in Birmingham, AL on the Day Shift. You will assess patient health, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with 1+ year hospital experience, BLS, and has strong medical/surgical knowledge. This role supports patient education and advocacy within a comprehensive care environment.

Qualifications

• RN license required in the United States.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (associate or bachelor's degree).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one-year clinical experience in hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical/surgical nursing principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor cardiac patients and respond to abnormalities.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
• Deliver nursing care across medical, surgical, and pediatric units.
