Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a Registered Nurse to join our team. You will act as a liaison across departments, assess staffing and facility needs, and participate in clinical education and patient care planning. You will respond to patient calls promptly and support nursing teams in delivery of care.

The role requires an Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred), strong English communication, and a willingness to float to other practices as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between staff and other areas within the facility.
• Assess needs for personnel, supplies, equipment, and facilities for budget planning.
• Participate in clinical conferences, workshops, and related forums.
• Respond to and triage patient-related calls and prescribe medications as ordered by physicians.
• Supervise and participate in general nursing care activities.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence.
• Develop and evaluate tasks for different areas; coordinate staff work.
• Evaluate employee performance through completed work and techniques.
